Amp Fuse

If your electric or hybrid lift won’t do anything at all, there’s a good chance the main high-amp fuse has blown. These fuses (200A to 500A) are what protect your motor controller, hydraulic pump, and battery bank from shorts and power spikes.

As part of our relays, contactors & fuses collection, these high-amp fuses work alongside our circuit protection & regulation lineup to safeguard your equipment. If you are facing ignition issues rather than complete power loss, consider inspecting sister components like our start relays or time relays. At FridayParts, we offer premium, direct-fit replacement fuses built for high-vibration environments—fully compatible with Genie, JLG, Skyjack, and other major brands.

Signs Your Lift's High-Amp Fuse Has Blown

When a 200A–500A main fuse blows, your machine will show immediate symptoms:

  • No power at all – Ground and platform controls are completely dark.
  • Hydraulic pump won’t engage – You might hear the motor spin, but nothing lifts or steers.
  • Fault codes – Display shows “Open Circuit” or “No Voltage at Line Contactor.”
  • Visible damage – Melted plastic or burn marks inside the fuse window.
