Description:
For a new Mother Clutcher HD primary clutch and puller tool designed for 2016-2023 Can-Am Defender HD10 and the 2021-2023 Defender HD9 models.

This clutch is constructed using the robust Maverick X3 components, which have been modified to ensure compatibility with and easy installation on a Defender HD10. The result is a primary clutch that is ready to bolt on and use, rated for more than double the horsepower of the original Defender HD9 & HD10 clutch. Upgraded features include reinforced towers with steel-plated slides to prevent button wear on the aluminum housing, as well as a stronger X3-style top cover (also known as the Governor cup assembly).

Despite being significantly tougher than the original HD8 clutch, this clutch comes pre-tuned for the Defender HD10 and 2021-2023 HD9 models. This upgrade allows the engine to rev up slightly higher, unlocking more mid-range to full-throttle torque and power. Mid-throttle RPMs are approximately 400 RPMs higher, and at full throttle, this clutch is tuned 600-800 RPMs higher than stock until speeds exceed 55 mph. Beyond 55 mph, the top end aligns with the OEM primary clutch, maintaining RPMs between 7200-7500.
